July 14, Day 29: Camp Unistar

Today was a quiet day, both in terms of activities and the fact that there was no wind all day. Patti and Ann spent the morning in the Gazebo having more talking time.  It feels so luxurious to have so much time to catch up, especially after such a long time of the pandemic.  Dick and Keith used this time in the wood shop to nearly complete the Little Free Library.

The afternoon was a good time to enjoy the warm waters of the lake, read, and work on photos.

The evenings activity was a dance in the sand on the volleyball court. Music was played on an iPhone hooked in with old but loud stereo speakers. Campers and staff made suggestions for a playlist of danceable music. The songs were very fun! Campers had been invited to come and pick out some costumes which Patti and Anne cheerfully did. Many of the camp staff were wearing muumuus or caftans. It was a colorful, good aerobic workout. Dick and Keith passed on the dancing but totally enjoyed the music.
