Another fine breakfast at the hotel, with everybody, enjoying and soaking in a little more family time together. When you live far apart, we don’t often see each other so we wanted to soak in the last bits that we could of this.
Dick and Patti did a quick peek at photos last night from yesterday and we shot about 1000 pictures. We will be doing a good sort through and uploading the good ones to Google Drive for the family. We all had so much fun and it was really a joy to be together. Now we’re headed separate directions. And will see some of the family members again before we leave Minnesota or later in Texas.
Eventually we checked out of the hotel. Patti and Dick were next headed down to Rochester for three nights. We drove down and dropped things off at Patti‘s moms house.
Then it was time to head over to one of Patti‘s long-term friends Randy, who is hosting a informal unofficial 45th reunion party for our high school friends. Amazing to have 45 years have somehow passed. About it dozen of us gathered at Randy’s home which was delightful. Lots of good food and drink and looking at old albums and photos. What a lot of fun. They had so much fun including singing the Mayo High School Fight song....they still knew the words after 45 years. We stayed until late and everybody enjoyed themselves.
